Thursday's Class!

First, I want to say a huge thank you to those who took my survey!!! Disney is favorite thing so I'm super excited to see your responses. The three ILP's I chose to look at were: Elizabeth's (Participation on Lynda.com with "Keynote"), Morgan's (Participation on Lynda.com with "Improving Your Memory"), and Kadi's (Participation on Lynda.com with "Learning to Write a Syllabus").  I chose these three because I did Design for my first ILP and wanted to see how some classmates did the Participation option.  Each ILP I explored was super intriguing and were super different based on content/what they chose to learn about. The three survey's I took were: Anna's (Favorite Foods), Penny's (History), and Hilary's (Eating Habits).  These survey's also offered completely different subjects to offer my input on which I thoroughly enjoyed!

First Day!

Hi everyone!  My name is Gabby and I am currently in my last semester here at FSU.  My major is theatre and I decided last year to pick up a minor in education, so here I am.  Upon graduating in May my goal is to return to London, which is where I completed my study abroad program during Fall 2017.  After that I would like to attend graduate school for theatre education.  There are a great number of grad school programs in this field all over the country so the goal is just choosing the right one for me, although I would love to be in New York.  I have one sister who is also involved in theatre!  She works as the Production Stage Manager for Slow Burn Theatre Company down in Ft. Lauderdale and loves every minute of it. ISTE Creative Communicator Resource

The resource I chose is Google Arts and Culture.  It is a creative online educational platform that gives students access to different artists, museums, and artwork around the world.  With this platform you can tour museums and learn about the history behind a certain form of art or art piece.  I chose this resource because it can bring students to the fingertips of art in a non-traditional and creative way.  It gives them a unique outlook on the artistic world where they can pave their own way.  It also gives them access hundreds of articles that can be used for many different types of creative research.  This website is incredibly creatively stimulating for students everywhere.
